Info for Easter Train 2024

 

Our annual Easter Train is scheduled to run on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 1 pm and 3 pm

Tickets will only be sold online.  Those tickets will be available for pickup at the office in the station 15-30 minutes before your train is scheduled to depart.  Everyone needs one of these tickets to board the train.

With the limited seating all tickets much be purchased ahead of time,  

​

  • All children under 12 will be able to participate in the egg hunt.  Children will be limited to five eggs each.  Eggs contain candy and a few contain prize tickets that can be redeemed at the station.  Please bring your own basket.

  • Children under 3 should be supervised as the eggs contain small pieces of candy and can be considered a choking hazard.

  • The egg hunt and train ride are rain or shine, so please dress accordingly.  The train will be heated or cooled if needed, but the egg hunt is outside and the weather in April is very unpredictable.  Conditions may be muddy and potential cold, so please dress warmly if need be.

  • Train ride and egg hunt  will last approximately 1 and 1/2 hours. (Length of ride may vary depending on a number of conditions)

  • The train will travel  north, then back up to the station where we departed from, for a  round trip of about 4 miles.

  • Adult tickets are $22.50

  • Children (under 12) tickets are $16.50

  • Infant ticket (children under 2) are $5

  • Senior tickets are $16.50 (60 and over)

  • Tickets are only good for the date and time on the ticket

  • Train runs regardless of weather, and leave at the scheduled time so please allow adequate time to arrive before scheduled departure (we recommend arriving at least 15-30 minutes early)

  • Trains leave from our station at 46485 State Route 18, Wellington, Ohio 44090

  • If the train ride has to be canceled for any reason, refunds will be made as soon as possible

  • Tickets can be purchased online.  We use a third party to handle these tickets sales, and they charge a convenience fee.
