COVID-19 TICKETHOLDER DISCLAIMER:
While we take precautions and implement new standards to keep you as healthy and safe as possible, there remains an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place and any place where people are present. By visiting our facility and riding our trains, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Our annual Santa Train is scheduled to run on November 27 & 28 and December 5 & 6 and 12 & 13. The train will leave our station at 1, 3, 5, and 7 P.M. on Fridays and Saturdays. On Sundays, the train will leave at 1,3, and 5 P.M. Tickets will go on sale shortly
A NOTE ABOUT COVID-19 COURTESY AND AWARENESS:
Due to the ongoing pandemic, we ask that all guests please obey all signage in regards to the flow of foot traffic while on our premises. When checking in, we ask that ONLY ONE person from your party check in all tickets for your party. We also ask that everyone practices physical distancing to the best of their abilities, especially when checking in, boarding/detraining, while seated aboard designated train cars, and while off the train at any stops along the way.
We understand that if you are arriving with a large group/family, it may not be possible to distance at all times, and that is okay, but we do ask that everyone please respects the distancing guidelines when it comes to interacting with separate parties unrelated to their own.
Face coverings are REQUIRED when checking in inside our locations and while onboard any of our excursions that featured fully enclosed cars. On our open-air trains, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that all passengers age 2 and older wear face coverings as much as possible throughout the trip.
We also encourage all passengers to wash/sanitize their hands as much as possible while visiting us, especially after touching commonly used surfaces such as handrails and doorknobs.
For our part, we are implementing more rigorous cleaning and sanitation protocols on our train and in our building, while also limiting the capacity of each train car to more easily allow for physical distancing. We will also be limiting the amount of people allowed our depot at one time, so we ask for your patience as we check in all parties in the safest way possible. Additionally, to further ensure the health and safety of all guests and employees, all of our public-facing employees will be wearing face coverings and our ticket agent will be assisting you behind newly installed plexiglass barriers.
Lastly, IF YOU FEEL SICK, please consider staying home. We are more than happy to reschedule your ticket(s) or issue you a voucher. Thank you for your understanding as we all work together to make sure our scenic trains are as enjoyable and safe as possible during these challenging times!
We committed to your safety and will clean frequently touched surfaces often with EPA approved sanitizers which have been deemed effective for the COVID-19 virus.
Signage will be in place regarding our policies, to guide you through the process, and help direct you to your rail car.
Movement between train cars will be prohibited.
Individuals who refuse to comply with our policies will be removed from the train.

Tickets for events will go on sale 30-60 days before the event
All Trains run rain or shine
Please give yourself ample time to arrive as the train leaves at the stated time. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the train is scheduled to depart
Please verify that you are purchasing the right ticket, for the right date and time, as we have a no refund policy
Tickets are only good for the date and time that is printed on the ticket
ALL passengers need a ticket regardless of age
ALL tickets must be picked up at the station office, printed tickets can not be used to board train
Due to the historical nature of our equipment, we are currently not handicap accessible
If there are circumstances beyond our control that would cause us to cancel an event, we will try to give you as much notice as we can, and refund your money
If you have a group, event, or classroom that would like to book a special train, please contact us, and we'll see if we can accommodate you! We offer special rates where you can rent the entire car for you birthday, wedding, or field trip. Please keep in mind we are 100% staffed by volunteers, operate with vintage equipment, and at the moment, not handicap accessible, but we will make every attempt to make it happen for you!

Use of the open car is based on our discretion. Weather and staffing play a role in whether or not it is used.
In 2019, due to current rail conditions, all rides are a maximum of 5 miles, one way, (10 miles round-trip.) The rides that are shorter, are stated so, on this schedule. Some rides are based on time, and are so noted in the ride description.
Due to the vintage nature of our equipment and building, we are currently NOT handicap accessible. We will, however make every effort possible to accommodate everyone.

By entering LSRA property or participating in LSRA events, operations and excursions and by your presence here, you consent to be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded, for advertising purposes. Your entry constitutes your consent to such photography, filming and/or recording and to any use, in any and all media throughout the universe in perpetuity, of your appearance, voice and name for any purpose whatsoever in connection with the LSRA.
