Info for Santa Train 2020

This information is being provided to answer questions we are receiving about our Santa Trains.  This information will evolve and may change as more details are ironed out and will be updated as required to reflect the most up to date information at the time.

Our annual Santa Train is scheduled to run on November 27 & 28 and December

5  & 6 and 12 & 13.  The train will leave our station at 1, 3, 5,  and 7 P.M. on Fridays and Saturdays.  On Sundays, the train will leave at 1,3, and 5 P.M.

Safety is our number one concern as we work to bring you our annual Santa train in 2020.  If you've rode this train before, please keep in mind that you will notice some changes from years past.

Access to the station will be limited to picking up your tickets and boarding the train.  We ask that you please remain outside or in your vehicle until we are ready to board the train

Social Distancing and the wearing of a mask are required (as mandated by Governor Dewine)

Coach seating will be significantly decreased to allow for for 6ft spacing between seats (our seats are bench style seating of either two or three people)  Seating is first come, first serve and passengers will be seated in the order of which they board. 

With the limited seating all tickets much be purchased ahead of time, either online, or  in person from depot (dates and times depot ticket sales will occur will be announced later)

  • All children under 12 receive a reindeer bell

  • Train rides will last approximately 40-50 minutes. (Length of ride may vary depening on a number of conditions)

  • The train will travel a maximum of 1.5 miles north, then back up to the station where we departed from, for a  round trip of about 3 miles.

  • Adult tickets are $18

  • Children tickets are $14 (All children under 12 require a ticket)

  • Infant ticket (children under 2) are $5

  • Senior tickets are $14 (60 and over)

  • Tickets are only good for the date and time on the ticket

  • Train runs regardless of weather, so please adequate time to arrive before scheduled departure (we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early)

  • Trains leave from our station at 46485 State Route 18, Wellington, Ohio 44090

  • We have a no refund policy, so please double check the ticket date and time before ordering

  • Tickets can be purchased online.  We use a third party to handle these tickets sales, and they charge a convenience fee.  If you would like to avoid the convenience fee, tickets can be purchased at our station in Wellington once they become available.
